Terms of Service

Effective September 11, 2026 · OhSurf is operated by Plug Marketplace LLC

Welcome to OhSurf, the attention exchange. These Terms are a real agreement between you and Plug Marketplace LLC ("OhSurf," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using ohsurf.com, you agree to them. They're written to be read — if anything is unclear, ask us before you rely on it.

1. What OhSurf is

OhSurf is a two-sided attention exchange. Surfers give attention measured on our clock and honest reactions to links submitted by other members ("drops") and earn credits. Creators spend credits to receive attention and structured feedback on their own drops. Attention is measured by our systems (time on page, interaction signals, required tasks, and quality checks) and rewards are granted only for attention our systems validate.

2. Credits

Credits are a promotional, in-service unit with no cash value. They are spend-only: they can be earned and spent inside OhSurf, and they cannot be sold, transferred between accounts, exchanged, or redeemed for money or anything of value outside the service. We may grant, adjust, or expire promotional credits and change earn/spend rates to keep the exchange healthy. Except where required by law, credits and credit purchases are non-refundable.

3. Surfer rules

You agree that when you surf you will:

  • be a human, with one account, giving first-hand attention;
  • never use bots, scripts, auto-surf tools, emulators, or any automation to earn credits;
  • never click advertisements on sites you surf, and never interact with a site in ways designed to manipulate its metrics, ads, or analytics;
  • give honest reactions and feedback based on what you actually saw — your opinion is yours; we pay for honest attention, positive or negative, never for a particular sentiment;
  • not attempt to game attention verification, quality checks, or the credit economy.

Responses that fail our quality and attention checks are rejected and unpaid. Gaming the exchange can lead to credit forfeiture and account termination.

4. Creator rules

When you launch a drop you agree that:

  • you own or have the right to submit the URL and its content;
  • your page contains no illegal content, malware, deceptive downloads, adult content, hate, or scams;
  • you will not ask surfers to click ads, sign up under referral structures, leave public reviews, or take any action that violates a third party's terms;
  • ad-monetized pages are submitted at your own risk. Ad networks (including Google AdSense/AdMob) prohibit paid-to-surf and incentivized traffic, and sending exchange traffic to a page that serves ads can get your ad account limited or closed. We recommend submitting pages without third-party display ads. We are not responsible for actions ad networks or other third parties take against your accounts;
  • escrowed credits for unfilled responses are returned when you cancel per the in-product rules; credits spent on delivered, validated responses are consumed.

5. Feedback: what it is, and taking it with you

Feedback, reactions, receipts, and badges on OhSurf are the private opinions of incentivized users — surfers earn credits for giving honest, quality-gated attention. Feedback is research input for you, not consumer reviews, endorsements, or testimonials, and we never condition rewards on positive or negative sentiment.

Roast Mode and the verdict page. If a creator asks to be roasted, each roast appears on that post's verdict page and share card once the owner shares them, with the roaster's handle and rank — unless the roaster turns naming off in their profile, in which case it reads "a roaster". The owner decides what is public, can hide any roast, and picks the one on the card. A roast written before September 11, 2026 is never named. Roast honestly and about the work; harassment, or anything aimed at a person rather than the thing being surfed, gets the response rejected and the account actioned.

If you take feedback outside OhSurf — quoting it, embedding a badge, sharing a receipt link, or using any of it in your marketing — you are solely responsible for complying with the advertising and consumer-protection laws that apply to you, including clearly disclosing that the feedback came from incentivized users where such disclosure is required (for example, under the U.S. FTC's rule on consumer reviews and testimonials, 16 CFR Part 465). Do not present OhSurf feedback as organic customer reviews.

6. Your content and ours

Content you submit (drops, feedback, profile content) stays yours. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and process it as needed to operate the service — including showing your feedback to the drop's owner and showing aggregate, non-identifying stats on public receipts. The OhSurf name, design, and software are ours.

7. Moderation and termination

We may review, pause, or remove drops (including via member reports), reject responses that fail quality checks, and suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms — with credit forfeiture where the credits were obtained or used in violation of them. First drops are reviewed before going live. You can stop using OhSurf at any time; deleting your account removes your profile and remaining credits.

8. Disclaimers

OhSurf is provided "as is" and "as available." Feedback is the opinion of individual users, not professional advice, and we make no promises about its accuracy or about any outcome — traffic, conversions, sales, or otherwise — from using the service. Sites you surf belong to third parties; we don't control them and aren't responsible for their content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the service evolves; the effective date above will change and continued use means acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Plug Marketplace LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: reach us via the contact details on ohsurf.com.
